This no-frills test includes only the following: A:G ratio, albumin, alkaline phosphatase, ALT (SGPT), AST (SGOT), total bilirubin, BUN, BUN:creatinine ratio, calcium, total carbon dioxide, chloride, creatinine, total globulin, glucose, potassium, total protein, and sodium. It is the least expensive test to check the simplest metabolic functioning of the body.
